Dual-module cellular hardware. Local wired access. Straightforward wireless connectivity. The ZBT WE5928 combines two LCC module slots and two nano SIM ports with 300Mbps 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, one 100Mbps WAN port, and three 100Mbps LAN ports. Its MT7628NN platform and combination of external and internal antennas provide a defined hardware foundation for business connectivity projects.

Two LCC Module Slots. Two Nano SIM Ports.
The WE5928 uses a dual-SIM, dual-module architecture with two LCC slots. For procurement and integration, the LCC module format is a key distinction: this model should not be specified as a mini-PCIe or M.2 module platform.
Two nano SIM ports provide physical SIM connections for the cellular configuration. Select the supplied modem configuration around your target carriers and project requirements. Automatic failover, load balancing, bandwidth aggregation, and simultaneous data operation require confirmation for the selected firmware and modules; the hardware slot count alone does not establish those functions.
MT7628NN Processing with Integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
The WE5928 is based on the MT7628NN MIPS 24KEc CPU, with the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi function integrated into the chipset. Wireless support is IEEE 802.11n/g/b, with a listed rate of 300Mbps.
The memory configuration is 64MB DDR2 RAM and 8MB NOR flash. One 100Mbps WAN port provides a wired uplink interface, while three 100Mbps LAN ports provide connection points for local equipment. A 5.0 × 2.1mm DC port and one reset button complete the listed power and control interfaces.
The 300Mbps figure is a Wi-Fi link specification, not a guaranteed cellular download speed or Internet throughput. Actual performance depends on the cellular modules, service availability, radio conditions, client devices, and wired connections in use.

Interface & Connectivity at a Glance
External and Internal Antennas, Clearly Specified
The WE5928 antenna configuration consists of four non-detachable external antennas and two internal FPC antennas. This differs from a six-external-antenna design and should be reflected in installation planning and purchasing specifications.
Plan router placement around the site's signal conditions and equipment layout. The supplied specification does not assign individual antennas to each radio, so antenna gain, radio allocation, and coverage expectations should be confirmed for the intended configuration.
Match the Cellular Configuration to Your Market
The specification lists LTE-FDD B1/B3/B7/B8/B20, LTE-TDD B38/B40/B41, WCDMA B1/B5/B8, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE B2/B3/B5/B8, with Europe, Asia, and Africa identified as target regions.
Regional coverage descriptions are a starting point for network planning, not a guarantee of compatibility with every operator. Confirm the installed modules, supported bands, local network availability, and any carrier requirements before ordering for a specific market.
Practical Applications for Business Sites
With cellular module hardware, three local LAN connections, and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, the WE5928 is an option to evaluate where wired endpoints and wireless clients need access within the same site.
- Retail Counters and Service Outlets: Connect local POS equipment or workstations through Ethernet, with wireless access for compatible 2.4GHz devices.
- Small Branch Offices: Evaluate a single router platform combining a wired WAN interface, three LAN ports, and dual-module cellular hardware.
- Temporary Workspaces: Consider cellular service where fixed broadband installation is impractical, subject to compatible modules and suitable carrier coverage.
- Kiosks and Digital Signage: Connect local controllers or media players through 100Mbps Ethernet, with application bandwidth needs checked against the selected service.
- Distributed Monitoring Sites: Assess connectivity for Ethernet-based monitoring equipment, with firmware capabilities and installation conditions validated during evaluation.

A Defined Platform for Your Connectivity Project
Two LCC slots, two nano SIM ports, integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and four 100Mbps Ethernet interfaces define the WE5928. Its four fixed external antennas and two internal FPC antennas complete a hardware configuration that can be evaluated against your site's requirements.
Procurement & Integration
For a WE5928 inquiry, share your target country, preferred carriers, connected equipment, and required network functions. Confirm the cellular module configuration, firmware behavior, power input requirements, and installation conditions before moving to a larger rollout.
Request pricing, sample availability, lead times, and configuration details for your project. Begin with an evaluation that matches your actual network environment and application needs.
